Geometry Work

To start the term we have been learning about shapes. We know that the maths word for that is geometry. We have been learning to talk about shapes using words like, 'corners', 'sides', 'straight', 'slanted', 'curved' and 'equal'. We each chose a 2D shape and had to describe it. Then we worked with a partner and had to make 2D shapes using sticks and playdough. We have taken photos so you can see our learning.
