Green Gilbert

Each week Mr Whittaker awards one class with the 'Green Gilbert' award. This award is for a class that have been doing a great job of looking after the school. Our Social Sciences focus has been on improving our school community by sorting out the rubbish problem. We have worked really hard at this. We shared our knowledge with the rest of the school to teach them what to do, and at each playtime we have children from the class on rubbish patrol. These children help others to put their rubbish in the right bin, and pick up any rubbish lying on the ground. We have made a great job of improving our school community!
